Hundred Hearts of Hope Challenge

006

This Project ran from December to June. During this period 134 mosaic hearts were completed as part of the Hundred Hearts of Hope challenge. Nine groups took part in this challenge, Age connects Neath Port Talbot Glynneath Branch, National Autistic Society Neath, MEAS, SOS, Lle ni Play Club, Ystradfellte Group, Plas y Dinas Group, Fane Art Group and Glynneath Training Centre staff.

We are proud to announce that £670 was raised through the sales of hand crafted mosaic hearts that were completed by the different groups  as part of our Cwn Creftus Artisan Valley Project supported by the Postcode Community Trust .

The Hundred Hearts of Hope challenge was a great success and ended with a private view held on the 17th of August, where all of the groups were invited to meet each other and view the 134 hearts that were completed. The private view took place in the Community Information Centre on the High Street in Glynneath. The hearts have now all been sold and the money raised was split between NPT Age Connects (Glynneath) and The Vale of Neath Food Bank.  We would like to thank everyone who took part in this challenge.
