Fane Art Centre

The Fane Arts Centre

The Fane Arts Centre (which now has a hearing loop), funded mainly by European and Lottery money, opened in 1999, is a unique facility for this area, has allowed many local artists to exhibit their work. The Centre is part of the Glynneath Training Centre, which is an organisation with charitable status.

The facility also provides the opportunity to study one of the many Arts & Crafts courses on offer, from Mosaics for Beginners to a Foundation in Visual Art.

As well as providing a comprehensive range of courses, learning opportunities and impartial career advise, The Fane Arts Centre will introduce a full Social Programme of Films, Art Exhibitions, Musical Concerts and many Fun Events.

These are open to all the students and also to the wider community of Glynneath. Everyone is welcome, so please make full use of this wonderful asset to the academic, cultural and social life of the area. If you have ideas of your own why not come along with your suggestions, we are always ready to listen to fresh and imaginative ideas and if there is sufficient demand we will do our uttermost to meet your requests.
