Job Centre— A dedicated telephone has been installed in the Java Bean café for information and advice on pensions, benefits and job vacancies.

Basic Skills Training— This is offered every Monday in glynneath 10.00-12.30 and Resolven1.00-3.30pm. We can help with employment search and CV writing. Students may also receive the opportunity to study on-line for GCSE equivalent qualifications in English or Maths— the examination can be taken at the centre and the results are available immediately.

PC SURGERY - Help and advice on fixing Computer problems, general maintenance tips and Volunteering opportunities.

Internet Access in the Java Bean Cafe is between 9-4 Monday – Friday and 9-2 on Saturdays, cost £1 per session.

Employability Service offering unemployed people help with:

• CV writing
  Completing application forms
  Job search
  Interview techniques

And much more.  This is a free service, call in and make an appointment with Cath.

Bakery service in the Java Bean cafe – fresh bread baked from scratch daily.  Also now offering a hot meal takeaway and hot buffet service – funded by The Coalfields Regeneration Scheme.

Citizen Advise Bureau— A Exciting new service. Now started in the centre a new Digital service giving local people more access to help and information at times to suit them.

Credit Union— Saving and Borrowing safely in Glynneath. Every Monday 10-12 at the Training Centre come along and save or ask about a low cost loan.

Learn Direct— This offers flexible learning modes, where students can learn on-line at their own pace from home or at the centre at a time that suits them. For more information about this please contact the centre.

The Centre also offers a range of low cost office services to the community, including:-
