Due to COVID 19 restrictions the Centre is currently closed, except for Rompers Nursery, which is open for childcare Monday to Friday. Our staff team are working from home to offer advice and guidance about all the services available in the community to help us all during these difficult times.
We are liaising with our partner organisations to plan for the return of courses, advice services and social groups.  If any of you have suggestions for future courses, groups or events, please contact us:

We are Glynneath Training Centre

We’re a community learning centre and small independent charity based in Glynneath at the top of the Neath Valley in South Wales. We’ve been working with our community, providing inspirational learning and volunteering opportunities since 1985.​

Our services also include Community Information Centre, Rompers Nursery, Revive Shop and Upcycling Initiative and Environmental Projects, working with local schools and community groups. We pride ourselves on offering quality services and interesting, fun social activities for all ages.

Our Goal

Key Aims of our Work

The Centre was set up to benefit the communities of the Upper Neath, Dulais valleys and surrounding areas.  We aim to help relieve financial need, promote health, relieve unemployment, develop capacity and skills, assist with improving life conditions, provide equity of access to social, welfare, recreation and leisure opportunities and help people participate fully within society.  We aim to help in these areas through providing learning, Volunteering and work opportunities.
