Glynneath Training Centre is a Community Learning and Volunteering Centre in the Upper Neath Valley, working with the community to provide inspirational learning opportunities since 1985. We are a “Second Chance Centre,” a supportive local space, where people can make friends, gain purpose, enjoy learning, gain confidence and move forward to positive outcomes such as qualifications, volunteering, jobs, personal growth and well-being.
We are a small independent charity, a community anchor organisation and social enterprise. We work in partnership with colleges, universities and over 40 helpful services and agencies to bring essential resources to our community. We offer community based services, including Centre for Learning/ Volunteering, Community Information Centre, Rompers Day Nursery and Rheola Walled Garden/environmental initiatives.
The Centre is managed by our voluntary Board of Trustees and we are looking for new people who have a genuine interest in helping our communities develop and celebrate their potential.
